What are the functions of Active Maker ?
The main function is to load and sort all components of the user's projects in right order and re-build changed component(s) or the whole project automatically by clicking one button. Also it helps to track component references and dependencies. The user can simply add sources of project's components and Active Maker will sort out them in proper order that allows recompiling all sources just once.

What are the features of Active Maker ?
The main feature of Active Maker is to analyse Microsoft Visual Basic projects and place (and later build) them in an appropriate order to minimize time required to re-build a part of or a whole multipart project. Besides it helps to track components' references and dependencies. User can simply add/remove *.VBP file(s) and the utility will show all referenced ActiveX controls and components for each project. Changing properties of one or more projects of the group is also possible to in few steps via the All Projects menu. And of course the program allows to build project(s) in a single environment (i.e. you simply click the Build toolbar button and all your projects will get built in a short time - and don't bother to run Microsoft Visual Basic environment for each project !).

In what Active Maker Lite and Active Maker differenses?

  • Lite version does not supports Pre/Post build scripts

  • In Active Maker full version, instead from Lite version, you can use all advantages of Microsoft SourceSafe in work

  • Product support is not provided for users of Lite version - only for registered users of full Active Maker
